YAMAHA 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION RIDE
I had an email from a bunch of Nutters... sorry - Enthuisasts,
about a ride being organised to Fort William, North of the Border
aboard some Yam Strokers... here's the email
'How Doo
This year Yamaha are celebrating their 50th year of business. To
commemorate this magnificent achievement, me and my mates are
going to ride to Scotland on a load of old Yam strokers, waste
a load of fuel and upset a great many people with the noise and
stinky smell.
There will be about 20 of us going, and now that we have booked
our accomodation we would like to invite the rest of the country
to join us.
We are setting of on Tuesday 19 July 2005 from Huddersfield and
hopefully all arriving the same day at Fort William (Green Flag
have been booked in advance).
We will stop for two nights and then return home. Simple.
We hope people will get their RD's, LC's, Power Valves, and YDS7's
(XS's if they must) out of the shed now, and get them sorted and
meet us up there.
We intend to be on the small car park by the Loch side roundabout
at the south end of town at 10am on the Wednesday morning.
Last year we did the trip twice on X7's and LC's.
Would you put something on your site to let people know about this?
Are you coming?
You must join in.
You know it will be fun!
